Aimed at a range of experience levels, our acting classes introduce children and teenagers to the joys of the theatre, provide new techniques for those with some experience, and expanding their skill set in other important ways.
We believe in the value of acting classes in developing life skills, regardless of whether you want to pursue acting in a professional way.
Held at the Peploe-Williams Academy in Winslow, Buckinghamshire, our acting classes will introduce you to techniques you can transfer to your working and social life, enhancing your communication skills and teaching you about yourself and how you relate to others – which is a key element of personal development.
An Introduction to Acting – for ages 8 yrs to 16 ys
We offer two levels of acting classes at the Peploe Williams Academy in Winslow, near Milton Keynes: Beginners and Intermediate.
- Acting Class – Beginners level 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm (8 to 11 yrs)
- Acting Class – Stage 1 level 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm (12 to 17 yrs)
Our acting courses are perfect for youngsters who may have tried acting at school but have never been taught by a professional stage actor.
These lessons provide a chance to explore acting techniques in a fun, accessible and practical way.
The academy’s Buckinghamshire location is particularly convenient for those those living in Winslow, Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, Brackley and Bicester.
From aspiring actors to people looking to gain confidence in their abilities, expand their creativity or supplement their school tuition, these acting courses appeal to a wide variety of young people and offer a host of benefits.
The basic acting classes will cover group exercises, games, improvisation, a common approach to technique, understanding and developing relevant characters, and rehearsing pieces in class.
