LAMDA ACTING CLASSES IN EDUCATION

We have a range of professional LAMDA acting classes for children & teenagers in Winslow, Milton Keynes, leading to prestigious, nationally recognised qualifications from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

We run a range of 12 week courses for students between 5 and  18 yrs on Saturday afternoons in Winslow, Milton Keynes. Book now for September.

Some LAMDA qualifications are recognised by UCAS – students gain between 20 and 90 UCAS points for passing accredited exams at Grade 6, 7 or 8.

Students learn a poem and bring a toy to talk about in the examination.

PREPARATORY

Students learn a poem and bring a photo to talk about in the examination.

PRELIMINARY

Students learn a poem and bring a book to talk about in the examination.

ENTRY DRAMA

Students perform a piece from a book or play and discuss it with the examiner.

GRADES 1, 2 OR 3 DRAMA

Students perform two scenes or pieces from memory and discuss them with the examiner.

GRADES 4 OR 5 DRAMA

Students perform two scenes or pieces from memory and discuss them with the examiner.

GRADES 6

Advanced examinations to gain UCAS points for university qualification.

GRADE 7

Advanced examinations to gain UCAS points for university qualification.

GRADE 8

Advanced examinations to gain UCAS points for university qualification.

ENTRY LEVEL TO GRADE 8 DUOLOGUE

Two students perform two drama pieces.

GROUP ACTING

A group students perform a piece chosen by the course leader.

VERSE AND PROSE

Students develop effective oral communication skills.
