MUSICAL THEATRE CLASSES AT THE PEPLOE WILLIAMS ACADEMY

WE OFFER AN EXTENSIVE RANGE OF MUSICAL-THEATRE CLASSES TO SUIT VARIOUS AGES AND EXPERIENCE LEVELS

We offer world-class training in musical theatre, building on the West End pedigree of academy founder Emma Peploe Williams. Our acclaimed teachers take students of all ages through the skills and techniques behind great musical theatre performance, from acting to dancing and singing, starting at nursery age and building all the way to training for drama school and professional auditions. Our musical theatre classes are ideal for young people based in Winslow, Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Aylesbury, Brackley and Bicester.

ACTING

A star is born – drama classes for all ages

Our kids’ drama classes in Winslow, Milton Keynes, start with children aged four, who we lead in games and exercises to nurture a passion for performing. The classes range all the way up to intensive training for teenagers preparing for a career in acting.

Through energetic play, our acting classes help to bring out your child’s natural abilities, while building their confidence in a fun, creative environment.

In taking part, your child will gain transferable skills to draw upon for the rest of their lives. From confidence to public speaking, communication, teamwork and listening skills, acting classes are full of invaluable lessons.

When your children are old enough, there is also the option of taking LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) examinations. These are highly respected personal achievements and provide UCAS points towards university entrance.

But the most valuable gift of all will be the ability for self-expression and the confidence this brings. Acting is an uplifting experience your children will never forget.

If your child is interested in drama, you may also wish to learn about our kids’ summer acting classes and drama summer schools in Buckinghamshire.

MODERN DANCE

Express yourself – dance classes for kids and teens

Dancing is an exceptional outlet for your child to express themselves and burn off energy, and our modern dance classes will be the perfect place to develop this skill.

We offer tuition in ballet, jazz, modern and tap. Our courses are divided into modules, giving children a chance to try each of these styles within a fun, well-organised environment.

You might also want to consider our dance workshops and summer schools in our Buckinghamshire base. In the care of our highly experienced dance teachers, students will enter the world of choreography and learn the art of performance.

As they progress, and their confidence grows, your child will be introduced to more challenging techniques of dance, and other factors relevant their performance such as the importance of healthy eating.

If your child decides to take their love of dancing further, we can arrange and help them prepare for the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance) examinations, which will provide an industry-recognised qualification.

Dancing can also improve your child’s confidence, poise and teamwork, which will prove helpful in any walk of life.

But the biggest gain of all will be the sense of joy and freedom that dancing brings.

SINGING

Pitch perfect – singing classes for all levels and ages

Our singing classes are an excellent place for your child to gain confidence and performance skills.

With guidance and encouragement, they will learn to perform as a team and create wonderful music.

As your child develops and their skill level grows, they will learn to harmonise and use different styles to achieve impressive results.

As they progress, there is no limit to what we can help your child achieve, from taking part in our summer productions to preparing for a career in musical theatre.

If your child is interested in singing, you may also wish to learn about our singing workshops and musical-theatre summer schools in Winslow, near Milton Keynes.
